The general aspiration system is the best solution for removing dust and air mixture of waste from processing machines in the woodworking, furniture and other industries.

  • Such a system includes:
    • Aspiration air duct
    • Fan or group of fans
    • Dust separation unit (cyclone or filter unit)
    • Return air duct
  • The main task of the general aspiration system is to create an air flow in the aspiration nozzles of the machine at the standard speed. Most European machine tool manufacturers require a speed of 28...32 m/s, but in some cases 20 m/s may be sufficient, and even 35 m/s can be found in the characteristics of specific machines.
  • When designing an aspiration system, we calculate the airflow capacity and system resistance (pressure loss) that must be overcome to achieve the standard speed. Based on this calculation, we select the aspiration equipment and calculate the diameters of the aspiration duct.
  • In addition to the main task, a modern aspiration system must ensure the preservation of thermal energy, electricity savings, and minimal operating time.

General aspiration system

vacuum filter unit with mechanical cleaning

Vacuum-type filtering units with built-in fans of the VFF series are the most energy-efficient and reliable unit for equipping the aspiration system of woodworking and furniture enterprises. Restrictions for use - the presence of a technological break at least once every 6 hours for filter regeneration, cycle time up to 10 minutes. Cleaning is performed by vibration shaking with the fans off.

  • This type of filtering plant does not accumulate waste, but requires constant unloading into a pneumatic transport or container.
  • Structurally, the filtering plant is assembled from panels made of galvanized steel 2-3 mm thick (optionally made of stainless steel - INOX) and individual components made of structural steel covered with two layers of polymer paint. The modular design allows assembling plants with a nominal capacity of 24.0 to 160.0 thousand m3/h at a vacuum of up to 3500 Pa.
  • The unit operates in a vacuum mode, which ensures high energy efficiency and reliability, perfect cleanliness and minimal maintenance time.
  • To meet the ATEX explosion protection requirements, the plant is equipped with process hatches, explosion discharge panels, a dry hydrant of the fire extinguishing system and fire protection valves.
  • The air is cleaned through bag filters made of antistatic polyester with a density of 550 g/m2, with a standard size of F200 mm and a length of 3000 mm. As an option, filters made of water-repellent polyester (Antiwasser) can be installed. The filter unit provides a cleaning efficiency of 99.9% for solid particles larger than 10 microns. The calculated dust load of the filters ensures long-term and stable operation of the plant. The purified air is returned to the production room, saving heat energy.
  • Aspiration flow and vacuum are provided by built-in high-efficiency fans housed in a noise-insulated casing. Each fan is equipped with a check valve and this solution allows for a stepwise operation of the fans to save electrical energy.
  • The filtering plant is equipped with fans of 11.0 kW, 15.0 kW. 18.5 kW, 22.0 kW, depending on the technological requirements for performance and dilution.
